Admin-Assistente per Magento® 2.x

L’Admin-Assistente offre a chi gestisce il negozio gli strumenti che il pannello di Adobe Commerce (Magento) non include: ricerca basata su regole nelle griglie in cui lavori ogni giorno, scorciatoie alle pagine che apri di continuo e una risposta chiara su che cosa è installato, che cosa è configurato dove e che cosa stanno facendo i processi in background.

Trovare un ordine da ciò che contiene, verificare un’impostazione su tutte le viste negozio, vedere per quali estensioni è disponibile un aggiornamento, capire se il cron è stato eseguito — di solito ognuna di queste cose richiede un export, un cambio di ambito o un messaggio a uno sviluppatore. L’Admin-Assistente risponde dal pannello di amministrazione.

Ogni strumento ha il proprio permesso, così a un ruolo si possono dare le griglie senza la diagnostica, o il contrario.

Funzioni

Filtri avanzati per ordini, fatture, spedizioni, note di credito e prodotti

Il filtro funziona come una regola di prezzo del carrello: aggiungi una condizione, scegli attributo, operatore e valore e combina le condizioni con TUTTE o QUALSIASI. Le condizioni non si limitano alle colonne della griglia.

Nelle griglie di vendita coprono totali, quantità e peso, il metodo di spedizione, l’indirizzo completo di fatturazione e spedizione, nome, e-mail e gruppo del cliente, metodo di pagamento, stato e negozio — più una combinazione di attributi di prodotto, che individua un ordine da ciò che contiene. « Ordini sopra un importo che contengono un prodotto di questo marchio e spediti in questo Paese » diventa una sola interrogazione invece di un export e un foglio di calcolo.

Un’interrogazione che costruisci spesso può essere salvata come preset e riapplicata con un clic. Ogni griglia si attiva separatamente e i filtri standard di Magento possono restare o essere nascosti una volta presenti quelli avanzati.

Dashboard

Una pagina che elenca ogni strumento dell’estensione e se è attivo, con un collegamento a ciascuno. Una pagina di partenza pratica dopo l’accesso e il modo più rapido per capire come è configurata l’estensione su un’installazione che non conosci.

Hotlinks

Accesso rapido alle pagine di amministrazione che usi di continuo — Vendite → Metodi di pagamento, una sezione specifica della configurazione, una griglia in cui vivi. Aggiungile con titolo e URL, ordinale, disattivane alcune; compaiono nella barra laterale per tutti.

Gli hotlink automatici fanno lo stesso senza che glielo si chieda: l’estensione conta le pagine visitate da ciascun utente e propone a quella persona le sue più visitate, fino al limite che imposti.

Informazioni sulle estensioni installate

Ogni pacchetto di terze parti installato con la versione corrente, l’ultima pubblicata e l’indicazione di un aggiornamento disponibile. Nessuna sessione SSH e nessun comando composer per rispondere a « siamo indietro da qualche parte? ».

Informazioni sull’ambiente

Versione, edizione e modalità di Adobe Commerce (Magento); la versione di PHP, i suoi limiti di memoria e di upload e le estensioni caricate; dimensione del database e numero di tabelle; se Redis e il motore di ricerca rispondono; e quanto spazio occupano le cartelle di log, cache, media, static e generated. La pagina da cui di solito parte una richiesta di supporto.

Monitor del cron

Ogni job dichiarato dall’installazione, con gruppo, espressione di pianificazione, ultimo stato, ultima esecuzione e durata, oltre allo storico. I job si possono eseguire subito dalla griglia. Un job mai eseguito viene indicato chiaramente — di solito il modo più veloce per scoprire che il cron non gira con l’utente giusto.

Confronto delle configurazioni

Ogni percorso di configurazione sovrascritto da un sito web o da una vista negozio, con l’ambito, il valore in vigore lì e il valore predefinito da cui si discosta. Dopo un import di configurazione o una migrazione, questa è la lista di tutto ciò che non è standard, su una sola schermata.

Configurazione multistore

Nella configurazione, un campo gestito mostra una piccola icona accanto all’input. Un clic mostra il valore di quel campo in ogni negozio dell’installazione — senza cambiare ambito, senza passare in rassegna i siti uno per uno. Per chi gestisce più di un negozio, questo fa risparmiare ore.

Visualizzatore di plugin e preference

Quali plugin intercettano una classe, in quale ordine e su quali metodi, con ricerca per classe di destinazione, classe del plugin o modulo; e a quale classe concreta viene risolta ogni interfaccia. Un filtro mostra solo i metodi toccati da più di un plugin — è lì che vivono i conflitti tra estensioni.

Sessioni di amministrazione

Ogni sessione di amministrazione con utente, indirizzo IP, stato, ora di inizio e ultima attività, e un’azione di disconnessione forzata che la chiude subito: la richiesta successiva da quel browser finisce sulla schermata di accesso.

Gestione degli indici

La griglia nativa di gestione degli indici guadagna un contatore di arretrato e l’ultimo errore per indicizzatore, oltre a una pagina di dettaglio con storico delle esecuzioni, dipendenze e due controlli. Pausa ferma del tutto gli aggiornamenti pianificati di un indicizzatore; Throttle li limita a un passaggio ogni N minuti. Entrambi sono pensati per un import massivo o una migrazione di dati — metti in pausa ciò che non deve stare al passo e reindicizza una volta alla fine. Una reindicizzazione manuale viene sempre eseguita, qualunque cosa dica il controllo.

Grid delle categorie

L’albero delle categorie come griglia piatta: ordinabile, filtrabile, con percorso, livello, stato, posizione e conteggio prodotti aggiornato. Trova le categorie senza prodotti, riattiva in blocco quelle disattivate per errore, modifica un nome direttamente nella riga. Con molte categorie la differenza rispetto all’albero è immediata.

Conservare le tabelle del database alla rimozione delle estensioni

Quando un modulo viene disattivato, Adobe Commerce (Magento) elimina le sue tabelle al successivo aggiornamento. L’Admin-Assistente lo impedisce, così un modulo spento per un pomeriggio non porta via i suoi dati. Le tabelle vengono rimosse solo quando un modulo lo richiede esplicitamente tramite i propri data patch.

Attivare/disattivare Two-Factor Authentication dal pannello di amministrazione

L’autenticazione a due fattori può essere bypassata dalla configurazione, separatamente per l’accesso al pannello e per la generazione dei token API, con l’opzione di escludere il bypass in modalità sviluppatore. Pensato per un test di carico, una copia ripristinata della produzione o un’installazione già dietro a un provider di identità che impone l’MFA — non per un negozio pubblico privo di un equivalente.

The extension is installed with Composer. Which repository you add depends on where you bought it — the install itself is the same either way.

1. Connect the repository

Bought on extmag.com. Your account page shows the repository address and your personal credentials, together with the two composer config commands to paste. Run them once per project; every extension you own is then available from the same repository.

Bought on the Adobe Commerce Marketplace. The package is served from repo.magento.com, which most stores already have configured. If not, add the access keys from your Adobe account under My Profile -> Access Keys.

2. Install the extension

Run in the project root:

composer require extmag/improver
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento cache:flush

Composer resolves the shared Extmag packages the extension depends on, so there is nothing else to require by hand.

Log out and log back into the admin, and the extension is ready.

Cloud storage

Dropbox and Google Drive support comes with the extension. OneDrive needs one additional package:

AdminWizard adds a set of tools to the Adobe Commerce (Magento) admin under the Extmag menu. Most of them work the moment the extension is installed; what needs setting up is which grids get the advanced filters, which shortcuts appear in the sidebar, and whether the two-factor bypass is used.

Dashboard

1. Go to Admin Main Menu -> Extmag -> AdminWizard -> Dashboard.
   
2. Every tool is a card: the ones that are switched on say so, and each one opens its own page. It is a useful landing page after login — the state of the extension and the way into all of it on one screen.

The dashboard also lists the tools that come from Logs Manager Pro and Backup Manager Pro. Both are bundled with AdminWizard at no extra cost, so their cards are live rather than an advertisement.

Advanced Filters for grids

1. Open Sales -> Orders (or Invoices, Shipments, Credit Memos, or Catalog -> Products) and click the “Advanced Filters” button next to the standard Filters.
   
2. Build the query the way a cart price rule is built: add a condition, choose the attribute, the operator and the value, and combine conditions with ALL / ANY.
3. Click “Apply Filters”. The grid reloads showing only the matching rows.
4. Click “Save Preset” to keep a query you use often; it appears in the Presets list and is one click away next time.

The condition list is not limited to the columns of the grid. On the sales grids it covers totals, quantities, weight, shipping method, the full billing and shipping address, customer name, email and group, payment method, order status and store, plus a Product attribute combination condition that matches an order by what is inside it — “orders containing a product of this brand above this price” is a single condition, not an export and a spreadsheet.

Extensions List and Environment Info

1. Go to Admin Main Menu -> Extmag -> AdminWizard -> Extensions List.
   
2. Click “Check for Updates”. The grid shows every installed third-party package with its current version, the latest published one and whether an update exists.
3. Go to Environment Info in the same menu for the rest of the picture: Magento version, edition and mode, the PHP version and its limits, which extensions are loaded, database size and table count, the state of Redis and the search engine, and how much disk the log, cache, media, static and generated folders take.
   

Both pages answer the questions a support request usually starts with, without an SSH session.

Cron Monitor

1. Go to Admin Main Menu -> Extmag -> AdminWizard -> Cron Monitor.
   
2. The grid lists every job the installation declares — its group, its schedule expression, the last status, when it last ran and how long it took.
3. “Run Now” executes a single job on the spot; “View History” shows its past runs. A job that has never run at all is stated plainly, which is usually the fastest way to find that cron is not running as the right user.

Config Diff

1. Go to Admin Main Menu -> Extmag -> AdminWizard -> Config Diff.
   
2. The grid lists every configuration path that a website or store view overrides, with the scope, the value in force there and the default it departs from.

The same information is available field by field elsewhere in the admin: an AdminWizard-managed field shows a gear icon next to the input, and clicking it lists that field’s value on every store without switching scope.

Plugin & Preference Viewer

1. Go to Admin Main Menu -> Extmag -> AdminWizard -> Plugin & Preference Viewer.
   
2. Search by target class, plugin class or module to see every plugin that intercepts a class, in sort order, with the methods it hooks. “View Preferences” switches to the preference list — which concrete class every interface resolves to.
3. “Show Shared Hooks Only” narrows the list to methods more than one plugin touches, which is where conflicts between extensions live.

Admin Sessions and Categories Grid

• Admin Sessions (Extmag -> AdminWizard -> Admin Sessions) lists every admin session with its user, IP, status, start time and last activity. A per-row Force Logout ends a session immediately — the next request from that browser lands on the login screen.
• Categories Grid (Catalog -> Inventory -> Categories Grid) shows the category tree as a flat, sortable, filterable grid with the path, level, status, position and live product count. Filtering by an empty product count or mass-enabling a batch of categories takes seconds, where the tree view takes a lot of clicking.

Index Management

The native System -> Tools -> Index Management grid gains a backlog count and the last error per indexer, and a detail page with run history, dependencies and two controls: Pause stops an indexer’s scheduled updates entirely, and Throttle limits them to one pass every so many minutes. Both are meant for a bulk import or a migration — pause what does not need to keep up, reindex once at the end. A manual reindex always runs, whatever the gate says.

Configuration

1. Go to Admin Main Menu -> Extmag -> AdminWizard -> Configuration.
   
2. Work through the groups, filling in what applies to your store.

The groups cover:

• General — the master switch for the extension.
• Order, Invoice, Shipment, Credit Memo and Product Grid Advanced Filters — one group per grid: whether the advanced filters appear there, and whether the standard Magento filters are hidden once they do.
• Hotlinks — a table of shortcuts (title plus URL, ordered and individually switchable) that render as a Hotlinks item in the admin sidebar for everyone. Switch on Auto-generate Hotlinks and each operator also gets their own most-visited pages, capped at the number you set.
• Two Factor Auth — whether Magento’s two-factor authentication is bypassed, separately for the admin login and for API token generation, with the option to keep the bypass out of developer mode.

Two-factor authentication is a security control. Turn the bypass on for a load test, a restored copy of production, or an installation already behind an identity provider that enforces MFA — not on a public production store without something else doing that job.

One more thing works without configuration: when a module is disabled, Adobe Commerce (Magento) drops its database tables on the next setup:upgrade. AdminWizard suppresses that, so disabling a module temporarily does not destroy its data. It is on by default.
