Magento® 2 ne fournit pas par défaut d’outils pour le travail avec les fichiers de logs. Avec le temps, les fichiers de logs atteignent de grandes — parfois très grandes — tailles. Le travail avec de tels fichiers est peu pratique, leur analyse devient un processus complexe. Pour que vos fichiers de logs aient toujours une taille acceptable, utilisez l’extension Logs Manager.

Logs Manager vous permet de définir la taille maximale de chaque fichier de logs et le nombre maximal de copies archivées.

Après activation du module, vos fichiers de logs sont vérifiés quotidiennement. Les fichiers qui dépassent la taille définie sont archivés. Le module conserve autant de copies d’archive que spécifié dans la configuration et supprime les archives obsolètes. Ainsi, vos fichiers de logs restent toujours de petite taille, simples à lire et à analyser.

Consultez et analysez les logs directement dans le panneau d’administration — très confortable. Vous configurez l’accès soit uniquement pour vous-même, soit pour certains administrateurs. La recherche et le filtrage couvrent l’ensemble des fichiers de logs. Vous pouvez filtrer les logs par date et heure, par type d’erreur et via la recherche textuelle.

Une autre fonctionnalité importante de Logs Manager pour Magento 2 est le travail avec les services cloud. Chaque fichier de logs compressé peut être téléchargé automatiquement dans un dossier (avec structure) de votre Dropbox ou d’un autre service cloud. Vous libérez ainsi de l’espace sur le serveur pour des fichiers plus importants. Stockages cloud pris en charge : Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive.

Le module Logs Manager compresse les fichiers de logs en archives ZIP. Étant donné que les logs contiennent souvent des lignes ou parties de lignes répétées, ils se compressent très bien. Un fichier de 10 Mo peut par exemple être réduit à 0,5–1 Mo. En règle générale, le taux de compression est de 70 à 90 %.

The extension is installed with Composer. Which repository you add depends on where you bought it — the install itself is the same either way.

1. Connect the repository

Bought on extmag.com. Your account page shows the repository address and your personal credentials, together with the two composer config commands to paste. Run them once per project; every extension you own is then available from the same repository.

Bought on the Adobe Commerce Marketplace. The package is served from repo.magento.com, which most stores already have configured. If not, add the access keys from your Adobe account under My Profile -> Access Keys.

2. Install the extension

Run in the project root:

composer require extmag/logsmanagerpro
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento cache:flush

Composer resolves the shared Extmag packages the extension depends on, so there is nothing else to require by hand.

Log out and log back into the admin, and the extension is ready.

Installing without Composer

The archive can be unpacked into app/code/Extmag/ instead, but that leaves the extension outside dependency management: its shared packages have to be installed by hand and updates never reach it. Use Composer for any store you run, demo included.

System Configuration

Logs listing

You can see all your logs on the log list page. Only a small part of the log data description is shown in the list. To see the full description, click on the short description and a popup with a full description will open.

To view the logs go to Admin main menu -> Extmag -> Logs Manager -> Logs

Filtering by logs

Logs are filtered by the following parameters:

Date and time
Channel (main or some module)
By file name
Search in the log description
Log level (Error, Info, Warning, Critical, Debug, etc.)
